Postdoctoral Opportunities

Excellent postdoctoral scholars who are interested in pursuing training in Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology should consider applying to become a Rice Academy Postdoctoral Fellow. This fellowship program seeks to support exceptional scholars who have recently earned the doctoral degree in any area, including medicine, and who want to pursue research with faculty at Rice University. Applications are welcome from those who are interested in interdisciplinary approaches to scholarship, such as Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology. The standard stipend is $60,000 and terms are up to two years. Fellows are provided with an office, $5,000/year in a research fund, and access to university resources. The Application Deadline for this annual competition is typically in early January for a fellowship that begins in the Fall.
